| Many non-profits, Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation included, serve our children in Texas. But at The Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation we believe it is not just simply about providing scholarships and medical care for children and young adults but how well we administer those programs. We also think it is important that we share this information with our supporters so they can understand that we are truly making a difference in the lives of young adults. Providing over $40,000 each year in scholarships to graduating seniors and supporting the premiere childrens hospital in the world is a challenge that we do not take lightly. We think that accountability is part of our charge to be good stewards of the resources committed to our Foundation. The structure of the Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation has changed over the years, but its original mission of raising funds to help others has remained the same. In 1983, the association officially became the Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation Inc., a full intergrated charitable organization, having been designed a 501 (c) 3 corporation with Federal ID # 75187854. Today, the Foundation serves 35 counties in North Central Texas and provides a perpetual source of funds not only for scholarships, but also for literacy programs and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas, Texas. The Fort Worth Scottish Rite Foundation focuses its efforts on two worthy causes aimed a enriching the education and health of children and young adults in the 35 counties that it serves. The Fort Worth Scottish Rite is grateful to all of its generous donors and volunteers whose support is critical to the fulfillment of our mission.
